Ratemex Oy begins manufacturing Vikmet Oy’s outstanding HOKKE products

As a result of recent decisions, HOKKE brand snow ploughs will now be manufactured in Tolosenmäki, Kitee. Manufacturing and maintenance and repair services will be done by Ratemex Oy in Eastern Finland from this autumn on. The products remain the same reliable high quality HOKKE products, and the aim is to be able to ship spare parts on the day of the order. As Ratemex Oy begins manufacturing HOKKE ploughs, the road maintenance equipment family grows in the right direction. Summertime equipment are reinforced with a wide variety of ploughs, providing answers to all needs. HOKKE is the perfect addition to balance the workload of the factory alongside the familiar AJO cutters, spreaders and underbody scrapers. The snow-throwing ploughs were developed as early as in the 1950s and 1960s, when Holger “Hokke” Träskman, Doctor of Science, began to look at the throwing capacities of ploughs’ wings, aiming to accomplish snow removal with less energy. We at Ratemex wish to respect this great beginning by providing durable high-quality ploughs suitable for various needs.
